I purchased my 318ti about 2 months ago. I was wondering what manual i could buy that would help me repair and maintain my BMW. Which one has the best visuals and is the most help in maintence.

search for a thread "cheap haynes manual" - that one may not be bad either (as a supplement to the bentley). only like $14. the bentley is more like $50.

personally, i couldn't stand not having a REAL manual in front of me. i'm not taking my powerbook into the garage with me and potentially getting dirt, oil or other fluids on it just to save $50. i guess i could just print sections i needed at the time, but one never knows what one might get into and need to quickly look up. it might be a short term solution to fill the void of a manual, but in the long run the $50 is well worth it to get the real deal. just my humble opinion :)
