Hey folks,

I'd thought I'd share a BMW hatch sighting with you all.

Tooling around Burbank, CA yesterday in a crap rental for the weekend, and what do I see but a local garage with four, read four!, 2002 tii Tourings in the front!
This car is def. one of my favorite BMW's and so rare--especially in the US.

I stopped off to check them and the place out, but the owner/mechanic
was rather short with me....I guess, the only cool, easy-going BMW
garages exist back home in the bay area :).
Nevertheless,
if I had the spare $$ and space, I'd grab one in a heartbeat. My 318ti
would be the runner and a tii Touring would fill my penchant to tinker.
Who needs a pricey SF apartment!!! I could live in the two hatches!

laters,
BC

how much were they asking

Freight from Europe to US(East coast) is normally just a grand.

Not too hard to import a 2002 Touring from Germany or so I have read from people selling over there.

Tourings are awesome and I bet you won't see four in one place other than at a car show.

If you can't find a Touring to purchase for a reasonable price, there are plenty of great 02s in California. They're all great cars!
