I work for a marketing company called Positive Impact Partners, LLC. It's basically sports/entertainment marketing, and we sell tickets to events as well. Our biggest clients are AVP Volleyball, Seton Hall Basketball, and Army Football.

What I do there is basically take care of the computers, since I'm quite knowledgeable in that field, design flyers, logos, and catch phrases, I work Seton Hall Games that are involved with http://www.sportsjuice.com, as well as promotions for all home games and events for the organizations. I'm in the process of building a recording studio in the office in order to do voice overs for commercials and television.

I'm in college majoring in Broadcasting. I should have my A.S. Degree in May. I'll be transferring then to a University (undecided) where I will pursue a B.S. degree in Broadcasting, minoring in Journalism. Current GPA is 4.0.

I'm currently a valet at my country club Trump National. It's about 30 seconds from my house so it's real convenient. And I drive supercars all day as well. And get good tips. I just turned 17 and I get to park Astons, Bentleys, Ferrari here and there. Maserati's. Not so much this time of year with all the salt on the road. But my boss knows I'm good with cars so hes straight letting me work full time valet. I've made some good relationships with a lot of the members. A member with an Aston lets me come by his house and I detail his car and usually let's me drive it around a lil. Good job for a high schooler. Get to work my best friend too thats a plus

I work for good ole Uncle Sam in the USAF. Been with them for 25 years have 5 to go then I'm out. I am and E7 and stagnant at my unit since we are top heavy. I need 4 guys to retire to move up, not happening anytime soon.

I am X1A371 which in layman's speak I am C-5 Aircraft Loadmaster, on the civilian side I am an Repair Aircraft parts at a local shop part time awaiting a full time slot. I have had my FAA Airframe & Powerplant license's for about 11 years. Industry is down in my area, but Gulfstream just announced a new facility to be built here so maybe things will move up.

I hope so.

Thanks for your service. My father was in the Guards and I have several friends that are or were in the military. They don't get thanked enough for what they do.

As for me, I work for a large midwestern bank, but I'm not a banker. I'm in the remittance processing department (pay your cable bills, credit card bills, student loans, etc; we process those payments). I can pretty much do anything in the department, but my main focus is on creating the files we send to our clients with information on who paid and how much, as well as sending files to our check processing team with images of all the checks to be deposited. I also e-mail various reports to clients.

I have a BSME and worked in engineering sales for a media broadcast firm.
Then started my MBA online through NCSU.
Got an offer I couldn't refuse at Nationwide Insurance as a Commercial Sales Manager/Agent.
Love the Nationwide job. If anyone ever has any questions about insurance. I'd be glad to help, just PM.

Also race a 89 Honda Civic Si in SCCA Solo's STC class. Try and make 5 or 6 Pro solos/Tours every year plus nationals out in Nebraska. Highly suggest it for any car nut!

for 20+ years I worked in hospitality, managing small, resort properties. After getting "down-sized" in 2008, I took a year off from regular employment and conducted personalized wine tours.

I found I like a regular job better, so I went to work for a small software company doing training and support. After 2.5 years of that, my boss announced that he was leaving the company I work for. I promptly took a weeks vacation as it looks like I will take over as director of operations when I get back in the office come Monday...

Wish me luck (or condolences...)!

I work as a Program/Unit Assistant for a Detox center. I mostly do all the administrative work for the facility. Like the billing, set up monitoring accounts, verify the clients financial information is correct, and make sure the clients have been discharged and and billed correctly. A pretty good job but Mondays are stressful because of the amount of clients that come in over the weekend.

Dave, even if this is not your dream job, you are learning solid, applicable skills that will translate into future careers...

This is my favorite kind of story. I have always been a "start at the bottom and work your way up" kind of person, constantly learning and expanding your knowledge and skills. Keep up the great work!

Honestly this job is perfect for me right now. I'm getting plenty of hours and the job is not one where I'm taking my work home. Once my day is done I'm out, if anything is pending I will get to it tomorrow. It's also good because I'm still undecided as to whether or not I want to pursue the administrative side or the clinical side of drug and alcohol addictions. Plus there is always opportunities to move up in positions which is something not every job has.
