Just a thought here. Maybe you could setup different group memberships for the users to subscribe to. Like one for those of us with forced induction, one for engine swappers, etc...

Honestly I have no idea how the group membership works, so if I'm completely off base here, forget it. :)

If someone wants to know when a new message is posted, they can select the forum and then select forum tools to subscribe to that forum. I can use group memberships to assign special permissions but I don't think that is necessary right now.
