I need to buy a set of brake pads and crossed drilled rotors for my 98ti. My question is, do 318ti' s have rotors in the rear too? My second question is when i buy them do they make them specific for the ti?

Front rotor 34116757750 318ti prior 4/98 same as the 1.9 Z3
Front rotor 34111165454 318ti after 4.98 same as E36 325 E46 323
Rear rotor 34216758552 unique to the ti

Cross drilled serve no purpose other than looks.

Edit: Some Euro market cars have rear drums.

so the front and the rear are unique to the ti meaning, when i order them they make them for the ti right. and if the order form say front and rear 318 is that the same, even though its not a ti?

Many websites get the rotors wrong.
It's easy enough for you to tell if you have vented or solid rotors.
Just look at the side edge of the rotor.
According to the parts CD, the rears are the same as a 1.9 Z3.

I will have to third bavauto. I just got my rotors in this week. First time I have gotten the correct ones from anyone. Had to send rotors back to tirerack twice and a local parts house once. Never again I will always shop bavauto.

I think that Tirerack got their rotors set straight for the ti because I ordered a brembo replacement and it fit like a champ. Now I can pass safety inspection!!!

It just depends on what year car you have when ordering from Tirerack. If you have the later one with vented rotors they will not get it right. They send out the non vented. Too much trouble to deal with having to send stuff back to them. BavAuto.com all the way for me from now on.
