m3 ti swap

couple questions im picking up an 97 m3 from this guy for 4500$ it has a salvage title on it, but the body he has been working on to get it fixed, if i bought the car and fixed the m3 body and tranfered my 318 engine into the m3 body, how much do you think i can sell the car for off a salvage title? and how much should i be paying for a 97 m3 motor with 36k on it? im dropping the engine into my 95 318ti. i know there diff. obd's and since i ahve the entire car it woudlnt be a prob. any ideas on how much i could sell the 318 engine with the m3 body for?

considering how much you'd need to transfer from the m3 body into your ti for the swap and the UNDESIRABLE 4-cyl in an m3 body, i wouldn't even bother looking to do the swap INTO the m3. i would try to talk him down in price and then try selling the parts removed from your 4-cyl 318ti outright. you'll also likely want to take the front suspension and brakes from the m3 (if not damaged) during the swap. i don't see someone wanting a 318 that looks like an m3 and it'll be a lot of work. sell the good body/interior parts from the m3 and then the rest to a salvage yard. i think you'll be further ahead, imho.

im going to take the interror of the m3 and swap it into the 318ti but alot of the body panels i can sell, and im selling the 318engine tranny and diff. and probly the suspension now if ur intrested. give me a price and u pay for shipping the enigne has 139k on it..

the mirrors i dont think i can use on the 318ti cause i have to have 3 door mirrors... but if i can use them i will but doubt it i dont have a fromt bumper fror it but ill sell the rear and sideskirts
