Does anybody have a 1992 to mid 1996 "T-hanlde" style automatic shift selector mechanism for sale or trade for the newer style with the egg-shaped knob?
I disovered that the actual shift lever shaft is slightly different where the knob connects....and if you want to revert from one style of knob/grip to the other, you must also swap the lever/selcetor mechanism. All electrical sensors,cables, and interlocks are otherwise identical. I bought a nifty (to me) aftermarket "t-handle " type shift lefer/handle, only to discover its not a simple swap out. I am will to trade full-leather knob assy from a late 96 M-technic in perfect cosmetic/mechanical condition.....in case somebody wants to do the reverse of me and go from old style to new style.
