I have an OBD2 S52, and was wondering if the ECIS short ram intake with heat shield will bolt on.

When I had DASC on the m44, I tired a heatshield, and it did not fit

People here with swaps have you tried ANY CAI kits with a heatshield that are made for the M3?

check out cosmoracing.com. $100 for cai and it goes all the way to your foglight. Cant beat that for the price

ok, I asked after ordering an ecis one. Used for $140 shipped. I like it more then the cosmo one, because I prefer a shorter pipe coupled with a heat shield. Its coming in friday, and I can't wait. Currently I'm running a short, but very virty and cheap cone filter with no heat shield, and I can't even hear the suction :(

k, installed it a few minutes ago without a hitch. I'm currently on a backup set of 215 sized tires, and in first gear, going allmost any RPM, I can punch it and lose traction. The whole second gear seems to be having a hard time getting the perfect grip too. Can't wait to get my 255's back on. I can't hear the suction, because my exhaust is loud as hell though

got the 255s back on, the ones in my sig, and got the traction back. Its ashame I can't hear the intake though, because of the exhaust. I like the build quality of this intake, and the heatshield is designed pretty well in my opinion. I recommend it for under $200
