thats hot! i added my dorm...it rocks...i could zoom into the EXACT location of it! my push pin is within 10 meters probably of my actual dorm!

you need to click on the "pin" for the info to be displayed (just found this myself). i was expecting it on mouse over, but you actually have to click it.

And google stock was not available that long ago, but it was destined to go up. I can email google with a question about adsense and someone actually replies to me. I think someone is replying.:confused:

google rocks. the search engine, the email (gmail), the chat client (gtalk) and their maps (maps.google.com).

No. One person has a version which is beta and I'm hesitant to use it since I think the update will be very different. Another person is not giving an ETA. I am watching them both.

I'm an avid Google Earth user. I use it for directions, hotel accomodations, restaurant listings, and travel plans. I recommend it for everyone. Yes, the picture of my town is about 2 1/2 years old, but the closer to big cities you get, the more up to date the images are. I'm sure we'll all be updated eventually.

Excellent addition to the site.

I second the motion of having a meet! The DC area is only 4 hours from where I live, in viewing distance of NYC, so I'd drive down without a second thought.

I wonder how old these pictures are on the map,they must be atleast 5-10 years old. Reason being i live on a dead end and there is a car on the grass where a fence is and the house behind me has been kncoked down for a longtime and it's still standing in the pic.
