I have a really good deal on M42 Downing Atlanta supercharger but my car is '96 and M44 engine. Anyone knows if it's too much hassle to install it on M44? Called Downing Atlanta but the guys who knows is out for almost a week.
Thanks in advance!

The DASC kit comes with a bunch of adapters for the intake sensors. The m42 has different sensors and such because it is OBD1 vs. your OBD2 m44. The kit would not be complete for your application. Also, the m42 is a 1.8L and your m44 is a 1.9L. If the intake manifolds are different, you definetly won't be able to use it.

It would be too much trouble and costly for you to do the conversion because the intake manifold and other miscellaneous stuff will be different.

I have a kit for the M44 from a Z3 and even that is a little different from the M44 for the 318ti.
