Cost more than they are worth.

I think the best option is forged alluminium wheels. Like Oz Superleggera or Kosei K1 Racing. I think it's the best bang for the buck!

Magnesium rims are FAR lighter than Titanium or cast Aluminum. Forged aluminum is very light as well, since the wall thicknesses can be run thinner at the same strength. This is typically the best compromise for weight and cost.

Magnesium wheels just like to catch fire, and burn about 5 degrees cooler than the surface of the sun, so they are not easy to get. All light wheels were made of Magnesium at one time. Where do you think the term 'Mags' comes from???

Try BBS for mags, and apply for the home equity mortgage now...

Burning magnesium is extremely fun. If you look at it you will also go blind or at least damage your eyes.

Kosei K-1s and Team Dynamics seem to be the best options for light weight cheap rims.

Try starting a new thread in the for sale section if you haven't already. Everyone will see the item when they visit the 318ti.org homepage.
