I am looking to do an s52 swap and wanted to know if an m coupe or m roadster differential would fit without any modifications
If you have access to the diff, see if you can get the entire rear sub-frame assembly complete. It's an easier swap than just doing the diff, and gets you a stronger sub-frame, trailing arms, half-shafts and the best part: complete M3 rear brakes.
It will be a bit more money, but well worth it in the long run.
Don't forget to change that diff fluid, as it's probably mud...

how much would the rear sub-frame assembly complete cost ?
I think I paid about $1200 for mine, but it's been a while and that may not be accurate...

$1200 is not that bad for a complete sub-frame assembly i thought it would be a bit more expensive

IS that minus the diffrential itself?
No. Complete assembly- six bolts later and it's in the car...
