what do you think.

for 200$ vs SuperSprint's 800+ I would consider it, if the quality is there.

Why does it say "For Race Only"?

Why does it say "For Race Only"?

Becuase it probably wont pass state regulations for smog.

Thats kind of fishy 800 to 200.Those wont lose power on low end would they?

The stock BMW header is very well designed. I am not an expert on this issue, but I'm going to assume that BMW did their homework on our factory headers. There are few way to gain hp via an economical 4 cylinder, free flowing exhaust is one. I doubt the hp=$ ratio is worth it.

eliminates the cat, right? that would explain the "for race only" bit. considering the O2 sensors are in the cat section (pre and post) and there's a spot for one O2 sensor on this header ... you'd still have the problem of the second one (for 96+ tis).

BMWs are 4-2-1 right? 4-1 are designed for a higher horsepower peak in the high revs. It may or may not be worth it at 200 dollars though. Looks to be basically a copy of supersprint.

It's really tempting to buy at $200 and it does look like the supersprint.

The tubing looks nice, but that plate; kind of . . . weak?

Those welds should penetrate a little deeper.

stock is a 4-2-1 and is a 2 piece IIRC.

This would be better atleast for flow.

If it's too free flowing you will lose low-end torque and hp.

You might be better off putting the $200 into ceramic coating and even wraping the stock setup and keeping the power curve where its at...especially if its DASCd. Just a thought. Now on a trailer queen, you could do both!
