Go with the 40mm offset. A 47mm offset would be o.k. for the rear axle but, you might have strut clearence problems in the front.
Cheers,
p.s. very nice

They look nice but i'd have to see them on a ti. Imo i don't think they would look good on a ti but whatever floats yor boat. 40mm is the most you can go i think....

I really like those, they look much better on a ti than I thought they would. The only downside is they're gonna be a bitch to clean. Where are you getting them from Dave & what tyres are they supplying? £495 is a bloody good price - considering I paid £106 each for my 225/50 ZR 16 contisports!

tempted by the rims d00d
The boilers in a 2 bed flat that I rent to the council. The latest building regs say you need a condensing boiler that meets some efficiency standard bollox & cos the council rent it its gotta be surveyed, fitted & tested by a corgi registered engineer. British Gas quoted £2200 to fit a boiler costing a grand!
I got a mate that works for them to fit the same boiler for £1400 but I'm still pissed at spending the money...c'est la vie

Careful not to hit any potholes, 18's bend really easily. I was watching a program on cable the other day 'The Garage' about a brit run garage in spain & they had a Golf GTI come in with abs problems. Turned out the owner had fitted brand new 18's a month earlier & the spainish roads had totally wrecked them. They looked mint on the car but when they put it on a lift & spun the wheels, 3 of them were irrepairably bent & buckled.

very nice, do you notice a lot of difference in the ride?
Honest opinion:
From a distance (PIC 1) they look $hit-hot.
Up closer (PIC 2), I'm just not feelin' the love there...
They might need some detail; IE a darker shade of silver/gray between the spokes perhaps? I'm not sure.
Don't get me wrong: They look WAY better than the stock wheels...
And +1 on the roundel vote. MUST HAVE!!!
