Does anyone know if a 3.45 lsd off a e36 318is will fit a ti? I'm not sure they will fit due to the difference in the rears of a is and a ti. Also on my diff, there is a number 345V1862 stamped on the heatsink. I'm hoping that this number signifies that I have the 3.45 lsd. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

To see if your diff is LSD: Jack up the rear end, spin one tire, if the tire on the other side spins in the same direction it's LSD, if it spins in the opposite direction it's an open diff.

an e36 will not, but a e30 diff will fit along with 5ser and 6ser with a different diff cover.
