I assume you are concerned about the passenger side airbag. Mine looks the same way, but this is normal.

I wouldn't sweat it. For the passenger side that cover just pops off anyway. The module is located underneath.

As for the steering wheel one. It would be replaced all together so there is no real way to know.

looks to me like the steering wheel might not be the original. notice the different airbag part colour to the rest of the wheel.

Everything looks kosher to me. My passenger side airbag cover does the same thing.

That and they are two different materials so they will fade differently. The outside is leather, whereas the center is plastic.

Also, how often do you touch the center of the steering wheel as compared to how often you're actually running your hands along the wheel itself? Obviously, the center is not going to have as much wear as the wheel. Everything looks great to me.

The air bag looks fine. That car looks great except for the POS stereo in it. Id buy it and then change the stereo.
