Hi ya, im new here, and wondering of anyone coulod offer me some advice?
My 318ti 10 years old, has been a full service record from a BMG main dealer In London. Just been told that apart from the £200 oil service I was booked in for it needs:
Gasket leaking £406
Gearbox oil leak £208
Power steering oil leak £214
crankshadt seal £35
Camshaft gasket £160
worth of repairs:
The last oil change (BMW approved long life oil) and inspection 1 service was at 50k miles, 2 years ago.
Are the above repairs usual and reasonable for a car with 66k miles on the clock?
Do I drive it down to the breakers, or can some one suggest a london or closer garage, that might fix these seals ( if definitely required), at a more reasonable cost?
Would getting a replacement reconditioned engine be cheaper? if so any suggestions?
