View Full Version : Walmart $5 Exhaust Tip

I know it sounds silly, but I hate the look of the stock exhaust tip, looks like a water pipe. I saw someone's signature here indicating the use of Walmart Exhaust Tip. So I went to Walmart and found it selling for $5.80, with internal diameter of 2 5/8 inches. Anyone have it on? Will it rattle?

ya i have one ,i think i got it at walmart or autozone,mine works and looks great it even looks better than the factory one,mine dosent rattle at all.

Seriously, I did search the forum for "Exhaust Tip" and this thread never pop up. So don't blame me for not doing my homework before starting a new thread.
Now I finally found the above thread by searching and reading through all posting by bmwracerchick.

I was just pointing out that she bought this exhaust tip and was excited about finding it at walmart for like $5 and posted a thread about it. I wasn't saying that this was a repost,just that she bought one.

I think you can just sleeve it on the existing tip and secure with two screws that come with it.

i bought one, and it looks great, however, now that my bosal will be here tomorrow...no need anymore, but it looks good, so go for it! i mean $5 buck well spent, for what you get
