Currently the car has 18x8 wheels with 235/35-18 front and 245/35-18 on the rear. Anyone see any issues with going with 245/40-18's all the way around?

Any pictures of your 18"? 245 rear must be very sticky.

245/40s on 8 inch rims clear the rear with very little room to spare.

I'm not sure about the front as I'm running 235/40s on 7 inch rims. Its very tight as well though.

I've been running 235s on my 18x8.5s and after getting the fenders rolled it's all good. If you want to try 245 all the way around then just swap your rear tires to the front and see if there's any rubbing.

If you have the stock ti front suspension (or even sport suspension) I think rolling the fenders will be required in the front. If the M3 suspension is swapped in (with appropriate spring and struts) you will have more tire clearance.

My stock 16" sport front tires rubbed in the front wheel well (with NO mods at all). Wider will be similar or worse...

I do agree with the swapping front to back idea. just go slow, as you may cut the tire side walls and/or ripple the fenders in front...
