I understand the reason and it makes sense to me. I just think there's bound to be a more efficient way of monitoring for fake accounts. The site supporter idea isn't bad.

just noticed this thread and checked out the calendar gallery, hahaha the good to crap ratio is about even.

The reason new accounts should be blocked from voting is that it is easy and tempting for highly "motivated" contestants to register new accounts to circumvent the one vote per member rule, and vote their photo up and others down.
