thats a shame kentish! need something with 4 doors?

Kentish 07-03-2006 03:39 PM

I'm afraid so!

Doing up the house and need more load lugging space and for carrying more passengers.

I guess my price will be around £3795. I've seen a few for a fair bit more and they weren't the limited "Edition" model of which only 350 were made. Mine's very pristine and I of course haven't seen the others.

I'll miss my Ti as it handles, goes and stops so well.

davep-uk 07-03-2006 07:37 PM

i know what you mean, i think i'm going to sell mine after summer. its just not practical for work. i'm after a Mitsubishi L200 Animal.

Kentish 07-03-2006 11:06 PM

I love the shape, colour, interior sports seats, handling, the pace, everything about it really.

If only I could keep a third car!

:(

A friend in the trade looked in glasses and said it should be around £4.5k.

I think around $4k is a very good price for a Ti Sport in this condition, it's also the limited edition model. I'm going to px probably towards the end of next week for a 530d I've seen - dealer offered me £3.5k so if you want to meet me in the middle on price that'd be advantageous for both of us but I'd have to do so soon as the 530d has several people after it.

3DGE 07-26-2006 10:50 AM

OMG i wish this car was around my area, it would be cheaper then what i paied for my car :(....wait...nm that euro

davep-uk 07-26-2006 11:20 AM

Hey Dave, sorry I missed your reply 'til now.

It's based on a Pontiac Fiero and the kit's made by a company called candy apple cars and the car is called a finale. Engine is a 2.8 V6 only 140bhp but 185ft/lbs of torque and 0-60 in about 7.5 secs. I'm going to run it with the standard engine for a while and see how I like it like that but I plan to fit a 3.4 V6 Camaro engine (goes straight in) and run nitrous jetted for about 75 extra bhp, should be running a 0-60 time of around 5 secs and about 195bhp, or 265 with the N2O.

davep-uk 07-26-2006 03:47 PM

Nice! have you seen the MR2 kits by Extreme? the Ferarri 355 kits? very nice!

Are you planning on having this car shipped over seas if you purchase it?

Cause we always get the short end of the stick in the US.

Panzer_M 07-27-2006 06:37 AM

Kent, what color is your 99 Sport? Is it an Individual?

RHD I assume?

I'm looking at getting a e46 325ti or e36 323ti sport(Easier of the two, and far cheaper) imported as a company car for PanzerMotorSports with a importer in Florida. Figure getting a e46 Ti to take to meets/Track events done up in PMS glory would be cool. I like the Color on the 99 though, since it doesn't seem to be either Imola or Hellrot.

Panzer, take a look at www.autotrader.co.uk and search for bmw compacts, there are loads, the 325ti's are rare. BUT, the e46's come in a massive range of colours you wont have seen before.

Panzer_M 07-27-2006 10:03 AM

what's the rear suspension on the e46 Ti?

Like to get a German model so it's LHD, I've been crunching Is there e46 Ti Diesel? What's the engine lineups for those?

davep-uk 07-27-2006 11:29 AM

they do do a diesel e46 ti i'll have a look for you at some point.

Kentish 07-27-2006 01:27 PM

Here's a link to new photos and an advert for my car.

SporTi 07-30-2006 04:20 PM

Exchange rate

BTW, Pound to Dollar is around 1.8 to 1 right now. The car is gorgeous, but the price alone would be substantial in dollars.

proudTIowner 08-26-2006 01:51 AM

I see the car has projector headlights. they're legal in the UK? I know here in the states they are universally illegal.
