WTB E46 325ti -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since they never made the e46ti here I am seriously considering importing a 325ti. I want a left-hand drive one, so it must be from Germany or wherever else they have the steering wheel on the same side as USA. If anyone has one or would be willing to help me get this done let me know. Costs for shipping/ customs etc is important and if anyone knows about that, please let me know. Thanks. I prefer a 325ti 5spd with M package. |

Still interested? i work with a freight forwarding company.. we have offices world wide.. i say go to ebay.co.uk i have seen rHD Ti really cheap.. and i could have my office provide the import for the car. |
Hmmm... this thread was about 2.5 years old. heh heh heh |
PM'ed ... shot me a PM back when you can. ---- how much does your company typically charge to import a car? i was always interested in that, but i figured the price was to to high. but since cars overseas are much cheaper (everyone hates the ti) one could import a nice 325ti and resell it when you are sick of it for what you paid for it + import fees. it would almost be no loss and a possible gain in money. could you give me a typical quote for an import form Japan and Germany? nothing exact ... say a $500 +/- of what you think would be what is charged. Europe might be better for me since i live close to New York, i could actually pick it up at the docks. Figure the size of a 325ti, figure 3500 euros Import tax, Vat Tax your fee and company fee (and other fees) info on the cheapest country to import them from. do you have contacts with any reliable dealers? i would not want to get a car on ebay, have it shipped, and get a pile of junk sent to me. haha. dealers atleast will polish it up before they ship it out. =] all info is appreciated. thanks in advance, i might be interested in some imports. I am liking this one already.. haha http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-BMW-3...item23146a62f7 |
if you're going through all that trouble at least get one with a stick ;) |
I know. the 2nd one i found is cheaper and is 5 speed (or 6 maybe) anyway, that one is the semi-auto .. i would def look for a stick shift... should be cheaper anyway.. |
