Maintenance ? and Rally Suspension Help!

Just picked up a 95 that needs some love. So far I've replaced - all vacuum lines I can see with the upper intake off; manifold boot; weird Y pipe under the upper intake; valve cover gasket; sparkies & wires; oil.

It runs way better than when I picked it up, but now the idle is wonkey even after trying to re-adjust it. After putting it all back together, I fired it up and the idle was steady at about 1K rpm. I poked around under the hood and after a bit of idling (not yet warm), it started to swing from 1 to 1.5K rpm. Even after warm and a spin around the block, it's heaving at me. It seems like the idle is self adjusting, once I get it dialed in at a high 1K rpm, it slips back into heaving at me. Any tricks here? Don't really want to tear it down again to re-check. I saw a post on the cigar smoke test, I'll start there first.

SO! With the exception of the idle, I'm happy with the motor now and feel comfortable spending some more money on this (not yet) beast! It needs just about everything ;)

First up - brakes. Was contemplating Brakemotive and Powerstop - http://www.ebay.com/itm/390376004641...ht_6325wt_1270 . I've read some good reviews and the price seems reasonable.

Second - Suspension. I really need some advice here. I want a rally setup as I'm REALLY hard on suspensions. My last 328i went through 2 in 3 years...

Anyone have any experience with these, or have other suggestions?
