Another ti down So I was driving in the rain after a hairpin turn, i lost control and wrapped it around a guide wire, I kinds feel bad but the moral of the story is learn from your mistakes and don't mess with mother nature |
Hope and trust that you weren't hurt. |
only a swollen finger and thats it, I still feel bad though :( |
sorry to hear about that, but at least you didn't get hurt to badly do you think the car can be repaired or is it pretty much done? |
unfortunantly it is pretty much done, maybe I'll look into getting another one and do it right this time and get a manual |
Bummer. Cars can be replaced, glad you're ok. |
Glad to hear you're OK. Guy-wires and automobiles don't mix well ... and the guy-wires usually win, I'm afraid. It's a shame how little it takes to total a ti. A combination of low book value and high repair parts can rapidly do us in. Actually, repair parts aren't all that bad, but in a typical incident, you'll need lots of little things that can add up quick. I live in a rural area and I'm only one deer away from a total. Last night, I went for a drive and saw over twenty deer. I caught a buck with my Honda Element a few years ago ... $7000 damage. It was laid up in the body shop for weeks. A few hours after I picked it up from the body shop, I caught a fawn ... luckily only a few hundred dollars that time.. |
