Hi all, This forum has been an amazing resource for me for the last few years, but I'm getting out of the last ti that I own.

I will post pictures very shortly, but I wanted to get the car listed here ASAP as I need it to be off my insurance by the end of the year. I'm not listing this car on Craig's yet because I would prefer to sell it to someone on this forum that's actually excited about the ti. I had planned on swapping a motor into this car, but life got in the way. This is an OBD1 car which makes it perfect for a swap.

A couple of things to put out there:
1. this car will not pass emissions in its current condition due to idle.
2. i feel comfortable that this car could easily do 1000 mile trip as it's my daily driver and it's never left me.

on to the car:
Black 95 318ti 5 speed with just under 202,000 miles (m42)
Black sport interior with wear expected with age, but no tears, non smoker
Standard body package with no side skirts
slight wrinkle on the back of one of the sideskirts, no other body damage, no rust
car was in a right rear accident with one of the POs (per carfax); slight cracking on a very small portion of the paint on the rear pillar.

I'm going to try to do full disclosure here to the best of my knowledge.

the bad:
1. car doesn't idle well. I don't want to speculate on the issue as I just don't know for sure. Check engine comes on at low and steady RPMs and goes away with a throttle blip.
2. car has just under 202,000 miles and all that comes with that.
3. steering has a small "notch" in it that becomes apparent in certain turns at certain speeds.
4. sunroof doesn't open, but will go forward for venting.
5. ABS light is on (haven't investigated)

the good:
1. no rust, no body damage other than the slight wrinkle on the sideskirt
2. new tires in the last 5,000 miles on period Borbet 17" rims that cost almost what I'm asking for the car.
3. drives strong at speed
4. decent brakes
5. solid suspension
6. A/C and heat both work well (I rebuilt the blower motor)
7. motor mounts replaced ~10,000 miles ago

I have some additional parts that will go with the car - just basic stuff.
1. Bentley manual
2. Heatshield windshield screen
3. some maintenance parts
4. oil and filters for 2 oil changes
5. new rear speaker covers with clips to hold the hatch cover in

I also have some parts that I purchased from Ms. Kitty that I would include for the right price:
1. full chessboard alcantara sport interior
2. glass headlights
3. clear front turn signals
4. euro rear tail lights
5. black euro interior storage compartments

If you're still reading, I would like to get $800 for the car and we can talk on the euro parts. I will post pics in the next day or so. I'm in Albuquerque, NM.
