Odd redirect issue/possible server hack

I've been able to replicate this redirect on a computer and on my phone. If you google 318ti and then click on the link that comes up, you will be redirected. Depending on what caching your ISP uses, you will get some adult content image or this site here (I think the adult content has since been removed according to the link below, but if your ISP is behind, you'll still get adult content.)

I think the issue is on your end considering that I've been able to replicate it on different devices and networks. Might want to check for a hack on your end.

Yep! Same issue here. Just signed up for this site, and was hoping someone else was experiencing the same problem.
I believe it's from an exploit within Vbulletin. I reckon the admin should look into it since it something that happens to other forum owners as well

I get Adultfriendfinder sometimes too, gets annoying since I have to clean my history after... :eyebrow:

This happened once before and I was able to find it and clean it.
I haven't been able to trace the problem this time.
I've updated the forum and some of the addons.
I can't reproduce it more than once to know if what I'm doing fixed it.

Seems to be related to when people use google to search.
Any pattern is appreciated it.

Could it be a browser issue?

I just got an Adultfriendfinder ad this morning after using the Google search option on the forum (search box on the left).

Definitely not cool as I was in class with people sitting behind me.

redirect

Ive gotten the filestore redirect almost everytime requiring a refresh. I got the adult friend finder last night. Today I got a russian hack site I've seen in other places with my job as an IT consultant. You may want to check the dns or nameserver entries on the domain registrar account for this site to make sure thats how it should be. But in any case Im betting on compromised plugins or even compromised ad network frames. I just dealt with the latter. A local legitimate news website infected computers with the crypto locker virus. It wasnt directly the site but the ad network they were using. Just some thoughts .

This is pretty widespread across vBulletin boards.
I removed an SEO mod.
What makes it more difficult is that I can't reproduce it.
It happens once on my PC but never on my Mac.

Anyone still getting the redirect? I may have to move to different software as this version is no longer supported by Internet Brands.

As of today checking a few times I'm still getting the filestore and adult friend finder. It happens randomly from direct link or finding the link in Google. It happens more when it's a link to a forum topic. If I navigate to the home first and then from there not as much.

google search box on left nav seems to be the key. I had it happen once and that's what I was using.

Not necessarily the google search box on the forum since this happens when you use google.com.

I added a line of code to one file that is supposed to prevent the redirects while I track down the source.

Let me know what happens.

I also get the redirect thing too.

Today?
This problem is so wide spread across wordpress and vBulletin sites.

Did I ever mention my wife grew up in Emmitsburg? Up the street from the dough boy.

I'm about a 10 minute walk north east from the ott house bar. A 20+ minute walk if I drink a little too much.

My wife's mother was a waitress there years and years ago.
