Spacers?
 

Has anyone ever put wheel spacers on a ti? I've been thinking of doing it but I'm not sure if they will fit. I drive a '95 base model with stock sized rims and tires and I am thinking of putting 30mm spacers on. If anyone knows if they rub, I'd like to know that and I would also like to know if anyone has found them cheaper than these: http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp (go under wheels and tires, then Eibach wheel spacers), $150 for a set of 2 is a little to pricey for me.:shock:

30mm sounds like a lot but it also has to do with the width tire you have and even the specific make/model tire. When looking at coil over kits it seems many people had to go with 10 or 20mm, never 30. Are you going for a mini-truck look with 13" wheels? What is your tire size?

If you do use spacers, use H&R, they are hub centric and machined to fit your wheel pattern. Also you should convert to studs if your using spacers. (H&R puts them in the box on many applications.) They use longer studs that reach through the spacer and the wheel as opposed to double bolted (Bolting spacer to wheel and wheel to spacer) We run these on several road race cars and have yet to have any issues. Even at track speeds.

My tires size are stock sized 15" OZ rims and no I don't want the mini truck look.

Because I had to roll my fenders to fit my track tires/wheels, I put spacers on with my street tires/wheels now. It was just looking a bit "too tucked in" for me.... 12mm in front, 10mm in rear. The wheels are right at my fenders now, but don't rub at all. It looks a bit meaner in stance as well.

I use Rogue Engineering spacers, as they are also hubcentric, extremely high quality, adn have a bevel around them, where they meet the rotor hat, so they are easier to get off, if they get a bit frozen on.
