WTB 1999 318Ti No Sunroof

I'm really trying to just see if one exists. I've heard through text, yet never seen an official picture. Auto or Manual I don't care, if you have one, even if it isn't for sale please post it here so I know I'm not chasing ghosts!

That's going to be a tough find considering there were not that many 1999s built. Plus it would need to be a special order. I doubt that a dealer would have ordered one without a sunroof.

Yeah, figured it would be a unicorn. Well if anyone knows of one or has seen one with pictures etc I think it would be cool to see. That's my ideal Ti, manual, but I can always do a swap from auto.

I have a '99, and have neither seen, nor heard of one, without a sunroof. If I am not mistaken there were only about 650 imported in '99. They were all M-Technic models with were at a higher accessory level than other ti's. My son (teen ti) did some research into the actual production numbers and I don't remember him telling me there were any without a sunroof. Being that they were all well apportioned with many options, it is highly unlikely there was any without. Again if I am not mistaken, the '99 ti was more of an attempt to "get rid" of the last E36/5 ti's before switching over to the E46 and discontinuing the ti in the US. That being said, it is entirely possible there were sunroof delete models sold overseas and the possibility of one from '99 finding its way to the US is unlikely, but not impossible. Good Luck!
