thanks

are #3 and 6 the entire gaskets and need to be replaced as well

That rear gasket is like 13 bucks at the dealer, not worth ordering, it gets trimmed to length on install, it needs to be just the same length as the hatch.

If I needed the front windshield gasket replaced I'd have a windshield shop do it. Its almost 100% yhoull break the glass unless youve got experience.

rear hatch seal replacement

I bought the seal and I can't get to go in the channel. How do you install the rear rear hatch window seal located at the bottom of the glass. Thanks

Clean the slot with windex. then spray the slot with more windex to lube the rubber that needs to pop in, I started at the left pushing it in with it aligned to the end of the slot and trimmed it with a razor knife at the end. I added a small dot of 3M trim adhesive at each end to tie it down.

I assume your talking about he rubber gap strip that runs below the rear window.

Good Luck!

I don't think windex is a good idea. Ever see what it does to plastic?
I'd be concerned about the clear coat.

If you need something as a lubricant, I'd use mild dish washing soap.
That's how I centered the antenna grommet.

Mine didnt have clearcoat,,, LOL But yea any soap. Ivory had soap works, but you don't want any more residue than necessary. Otherwise it will pop out. ALso dont use any soap that says its anti bacterial, it will eat things worse than windex...

What did you used to get the seal out of the channel, mines came away in pieces.

Mine pealed out. It was coming out on its own and had shrunk by almost an inch.
