-----My 328Ti project-----

Finally after 3 years! I can join the Ti swap club! I just brought my friend wreck 328IS and plan on swapping all I can over. I will do my best to update this thread when I have done something on the car.

Plans:
1. Upgrade my brakes to 328. (done!)
2. Re-paint my car to Montego Blue(BMW 2008 Color). (done!) :2pistole:
3. 318Ti to 328Ti (done!) :2pistole:
4. Auto to Manual transmission conversion (done!) :2pistole:

He needs the sedan dash for an easy swap.

I knew the sedan would be a lot easier and would fit better. What I've seen so far is that our windshield align differently so it won't fit as clean unless I do some more custome work.

Starting to take the front end off but got stuck because I don't have the right Hex size to take the AC lines off.

Pull that entire front suspension and add the 1995 M3 offset lower control arm bushings (those are probably shot anyway), caster tops on the struts and change to the M3 struts and sway bar/end links. Don't forget the strut top reinforcements as well. Once the car is all together, and you've driven a few miles, have it aligned to the specs I have posted here under the tech section.

If you don't get the entire sub frame, at least use the M roadster/coupe rear springs and M Coupe rear sway bar. If you keep the stock trailing arms in the rear, they have to be reinforced or they will rip.

You won't be dissassapointed....

I already have the reinforcement plates and new struts and springs, but the sway bar will have to wait until I find some more funds . for now I probably just run all stock like the other Ti's in my area. They haven't had any issues yet.. Thanks for the info though, I will think about it.
