Sorry to interrupt your sale. I researched this site and the opinion seems to be this won't help a ti with DASC (keeping stock boost). I will PM you with further apologies. This DINAN chip is priced well. I have a DINAN chip in my other BMWs, it really helps performance. Go for it guys!

Do not ever use a Dinan chip on a DASC car or any I-4 car with boost. Too much timing and fuel is too lean, it will blow up quick. The Dinan tune is for a N/A motor only

Just installed this chip. Umm.. it doesnt work. My car is a 1995 318ti Active... same # on the DME as Platanos quoted in his ad for compatibility. Contacted the seller...to be continued.

Perhaps you should give him a couple days to respond privately?

You sure there are no bent pins and obviously not backwards?

Yes it was installed properly.

It took me a few tries to get a chip working on an OBD1 DME a few years ago. Does the car start?

If your 1995 has EWS that chip wont work and you will need one of mine. Don't quote me on this but I don't think Dinan ever did a EWS delete chip for the 282 DME. * OH and most 282 DME's are EWS equipt

That sucks! I don't think chips really "go bad". It worked when I had it installed last. Don't know what to say...
