fuel gauge??

Hi I have a swapped m3 motor and ever since i have had the car the fuel gauge is not accurate at all. Is there a difference in the sender unit or the gauge cluster that need converting??
Any ideas would be great
Thanks

is it the stock cluster from the 4-cyl.? you need the cluster from the M3 to make sure everything works correctly

You have to rewire that, check the sticky.

Wait, are we talking about the fuel gauge or the MPG gauge at the bottom of the tach?
