Hello, I recently was gifted my old 318ti and want to swap the dash with the m version. Is there an in depth write up somewhere on this site?

Do you want your tach to be off and maybe your mileage?

I dont mind if the tac and mileage will be off. The car is 100% stock at 210K

Not worth doing in my opinion. The pattern for the door will not line up. And you'd need a bunch of other parts to make it work

In my opinion installing some chrome rings will improve the look of the cluster.

Is there a reason you want an M3 cluster?
