painting side skirts and front facia on 1995

I have a white 95 ti. previous owner made the gray side skirts black. I think they look great, so great in fact that I am thinking about doing the front and rear gray in black also. Has anyone else done this to their ti?

nope, previous owner did the same to mine. I ended up color matching front and rear and adding the lux side skirts.

Mine are painted that way. I love the look myself...i'll see if I can find my thread from where I did it.

EDIT: Found the thread, it's on BF.C but I found some after shots on my facebook so I'll post those. I know where the others are located but they are outside and its stormin outside here.

I just painted my '95 ti's side-skirts and front & rear valances satin black. It looks fantastic! My car is Hellrot so the contrast is great. The gray was just so awful!
I prepped all of the surfaces, sanded everything, cleaned with thinner again, primed with a sealer/primer and gave everything 3 coats of Rust-Oleum satin black.
I didn't use a clear coat because I wanted the satin black finish. So far it is proving to be very tough.
I just joined so I have no photos up yet.
Black would look great with the Alpine white!

PO did that to mine but the paints chipping off and i don't think he prepped them properly. All i gotta say is its all about the prep work, so mineral spirits them first and then use the right paint... Keep posted on the out come
