Additional information and mods

My plan for this car was a simple, RELIABLE, good gas mileage, good looks, daily driver. Because I am poor, I drive a lot from Austin to Houston, and I like pretty things.

This car is a 4 cylinder 95' BMW. The good thing about that is it gets 32mpg (even better if you go easy on the gas pedal) with enough style to get you by. This is by far the best candidate for Daily Driving. It has a hatchback so you can fold down the seats and you have plenty of space (I moved a gun safe recently). There is plenty of space for work in the engine compartment as well. The seats are comfy (never ever felt a sprain in my back while driving 500+ miles).

It is dead on reliable, I just drove it from Austin to Houston and back to Austin and Houston again with no problems at all. I have spent XXXX on making this car very very reliable. I have fixed and replaced all components that could cause any problems.

Right after I got the car I did:

Reliability Mods:

Synthetic Oil change: $79
New radiator: $229.00 Labor: $160
New plastic cooling components (these give out after a while so i replaced it) $250
New Driveshaft flex joint ($70), Driveshaft support ($39), Motor mounts ($90), Transmission support ($40) Labor: $630.
New Catalytic Converter: $250 (including labor)

$1837.00 worth of reliability upgrades!

Exterior Mods:

HIDS + Projectors $150
Sideskirts $100
Front Bumper $70
99 3-series Rims $500 (with tires)
Lots of car washing and car waxing

$820.00 Worth of Exterior Mods

Performance Mods:

No name brand muffler, not loud, deep growl $130
K&N Intake Filter $60

$190.00 Worth of performance mods.

I did get rear ended...there is no damage other than the muffler. While replacing the muffler, I had the shop do all the reliability mods.

Here are the pics.

I Spent $2800ish on just making this car what it is supposed to be, reliable and good looking.

Asking price is $4650 obo. Please do not be afraid to make an offer. Trades MIGHT be considered, but all trades must have cash on top. I am selling because my sister just got a car, so I'd rather have the money for tuition.

Thanks guys, bump me up if you like what you see!
