Will it work on an mtech?

It mounts to the rear bumper shocks behind the bumper on my 1996.
Do you know how to remove the rear bumper to access the shocks?

You will need a torx bit, a 10mm and 14mm socket.

If you post a pic of your rear bumper, I shd be able to assess the space behind it.

Lets put it this way.

If you look under the bumper, if there is about 2.5 inches of space between the inside of the bumper to the trunk outer sheet metal. the receiver vertical piece should fit.

The other steel plate is bolted to the hitch on one end and the other end is bolted to the sheet metal cross member behind the spare tire well. It is an added support to the shock mounts.
