Thankfully I have a friend and the dealership who cant get me a huge discount but I want to see what else is out there just in case something happens.

marleymon 04-07-2006 05:36 PM

hood

hey man- if you have a chance to get a new oem, go for it. Hoods are easily damaged, bumped and bruised. New rust free is the way.....
I repaired mine about 6 months ago and the rust is already starting to come back. Chemical warfare sux in michigan. It all started from a stone chip.

Thanks for the advice. Im probably going to go with new but I still wanted to see what was out there. Yeah rust is a problem in Iowa too, I have a chip on the side that is rusting that is pissing me off.
