M52B28 with junkyard M54B30 rotating assembly
 

i today i bought a M54B30 short block. im gathering parts for "stage 2" of my build. anything i should know or check beforehand? im going to use my M52 iron block and use M54 crank and full piston assembly using M52 OEM rings and wpc treated rod bearing set. also does the B30 have a forged crank? because i dont want to buy it and install it only to later learn that it its bent. does it have forged rods too?? thanks!
