FS: Parting out hellrot 99' 318Ti M-Sport

Hello all!

I have a hellrot red 99' Ti that I am looking to part out. It's the M-Sport model which incidentally was the only model that BMW made in '99... so naturally it has the body kit and sunroof (although the rear body kit is at least partially missing, a few years back someone rear-ended me and it cracked.)

Overall, the car is in semi-good condition. I'll detail the condition of any given piece and provide pictures, etc, for anyone who is interested.

The car is not currently running but I do know what's wrong with it and it normally runs fine. The only recent issue that I've had with it involves one of the fuzes for the starter or the ignition. One of my more knowledgeable relatives hooked up a relay to the fuse box for me when I couldn't get it started about two years ago now. It wouldn't turn over and just made a dull, electronic buzzing sound when I turned the key. I don't know exactly what it was that my relative fixed using his own relay plugged into the fuse box under the hood, but I do know the reason the car stopped working is because the relay came loose from the fuze box where it was plugged in. The car will run again if I plug it back in properly. When it stopped working, I immediately noticed that the relay was loose and had come unplugged. I also had to pay a pretty penny to replace the expensive BMW computer about five years ago. Other than that, I haven't had any issues that I can recall but I'll certainly provide pictures and detailed information about each individual piece that someone might be interested in.

Anyways, if you're interested in any parts from a hellrot 99' Ti, just let me know what you're looking for and if I have it (I should have most of them, some in better condition than others,) then I'll respond with pictures and any valid background information and then we can discuss whatever is thought to be a fair/good price. I am not looking to sell the entire car but simply to part it out. I will accept paypal for payment or we can discuss other online payment options.

Also, I used to have an account here a few years back but unfortunately I couldn't remember my user information. Turns out, I registered so long ago that I apparently no longer use the email address that I originally signed up with. Thanks for reading and please post here in the thread if you're interested in any parts from a '99 Ti M-Sport (hellrot red), and please list whatever you're interested in along with perhaps whatever you're looking to spend and I'll respond with pictures and information.

Any interest?

Nobody interested thus far?

I guess I just figured people would be jumping all over this for certain pieces.

The 99' Model (M-Sport) came with a lot of the what I thought were desired parts such as the very nice m-steering wheel, the m-body kit, the premium sound package and while I'm thinking that only local pickup would be viable for them, the adjustable 2-tone sport seats with the heated option (black-grey interior.)

And just about every other part that you can think of...

By the way, I'm only the second owner of the car and I originally bought it in near perfect (or at least, extremely good) condition about ten or eleven years ago with 31K miles on it. It currently has over 100k miles on it and certain pieces are a little worse for the wear but overall the car is still in good working shape.

Send me a PM or post here if you're interested in anything! Thanks!

How much for the steering wheel and the luxury slotted grille for the front bumper. .Pm me pics if available. Thanks.

Interested in the nose panel, depending on condition and shipping cost. It's the metal part that the grills fit into. You wouldn't happen to have a trip to Colorado planned, would you?

I know its only been 3 days since I posted, but also sent email to OP and still no reply. Anyone else heard anything?

Eric 10-07-2015 08:42 PM

I am interested in the set of side mouldings (M-tech wide ones), as mine have rusted away (really!).

I am also interested in the muffler assembly from just behind the cat. to the tailpipe (though you're in Kansas, so shipping may be prohibitive).

I will probably think of other things, but those are the important ones.

Thanks,

- Eric

Possibly interested in seats, including rears. And door cards/inserts if not already taken. Shipping would be the question...

paul somlo 10-14-2015 12:14 AM

Seems like the OP has gone AWOL. Maybe he decided to keep the car.

I've already got a request above for the door cards, but no reply from OP since first posted. Even sent an email with no reply.

Oh I saw that 740isport, which is why I specifically said "if not already taken" :)

But looks like doesn't matter if OP is MIA. Lame.

Been trying to get rear seat from him but never heard back. Tried email. Ect...

I know some of these parts have been mentioned earlier in the thread, and the OP appears to be MIA, BUT...

I could use a pair of rear M-Tech springs (or maybe just one), both M-Tech bumper valences / covers, and the M-Tech side mouldings.

(I just wrecked my '98 M-Tech, which already had one slightly broken rear spring, and need parts to make the new '97 non-M more M-like).
