Woot for Rally 318ti's!

Theres a short segment in a rally crash video I found with a NICE lookin rally'd out 318ti in it! It's the very last car shown in the vid, and it comes in a 4:11. And no, it doesn't crash..the driver just kinda spins it into a donut. I love it! Check it out : Video

crash at 3:24 was nasty. i wouldn't want to be anywhere near the road when spectating at a rally! damn ...

TI FTW! that was pretty sweet there!

http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...ilies/rofl.gif at the ti.

He was a good driver. Not because he didnt crash, but he was the only car that had the wheels countered on the turns (facing the oppsite way of a turn). And that's why he didnt crash.

HuGo 01-04-2008 11:29 PM

Actually now that i saw it again and observed. He DIDNT counter the turn and thats why he spun out. I thought he kept going to the right but he went to the left. Didnt have the wheels countered and thats why he spun out.

Rules of rallying state that it has to be under 2.0 liters, so it's most likely the stock engine tuned up quite a bit. Schweet

I know there is a 318ti set up for rally that has an M3 motor.

too bad about the E30's that got wrecked but I think the Fiat Panda's had it coming:biggrin:

yes there is, here's a link to it

Well..I don't think its legal for professional rally car racing then. I mean, hell, do what ever you want to the engine in a rally car; drop an inline six with two turbos and race around a dirt track...unfortunately that won't get you into the pros. Heres some food for thought: the Mitsubishi Evo 8 (or 9..not sure) had 400bhp with a turbo charged 2.0L engine...impressive? Indeed!

BakeR318 01-05-2008 12:25 AM

Well then..I don't know what class that is..But that link definitely proves me wrong. Dunno.

Wow that was a bit hard to watch. That geo metro looking thing at 2:20 must have been driven by a complete and utter moron, he just drove right into the crowd. Yeah but anyways, that ti was amazing, Im in love.

I have Rallisport II for my Xbox and there's a Iceracing/Rally compact that is awesome. I like the white multispoke wheels on it.
