1997 Black 318ti DASC Supercharged w/ LSD Koni Adjustables New Cooling system etc

SOLD

Update - Yes the car is for sale...I've been daily driving it for the last couple weeks and have been struggling with letting it go. It starts every time, on time, cold weather, or whatever. I have put so so much money in upkeep it's unreal, and it shows when you turn the key.

The wheels that are in the pics will not go with the car at the $3500 number...no way, no how. It will come on good quality snow tires and 16" rims, which I will post pics of this week as I put them on the car. I will add more pics as I can, but I apologize, all I do is work these days, so I have been slow to update this.

1997 BMW 318ti that I've had for over 5 years and have daily driven until recently. Engine starts right up, pulls hard and runs strong and healthy. Car uses little oil, and always puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

Car was built by "Dustin T" years ago, then owned by two other people. I purchased from a fellow named Fabian and have put thousands upon thousands of dollars in to upgrade it, make it better, etc..

I'm at the point where I have other vehicles and am tired of taking the time to work on the car as my priorities have shifted to family, home audio, building a new business...the car just isn't able to be given the focus it deserves.

I have tons of documentation and have rebuilt the entire cooling system, front end suspension, and so much more within the last year.

The car has so many new parts I don't know where to start, but when I have a few more moments I'll go through all documentation as I've kept all records and list some more.

212k miles will go up slightly as I drive it a couple times a week before it goes.
Black leather (real leather interior) in pretty decent shape with no rips or tears. Was added as an option at the dealer. Have the original window sticker and all documentation since day one.
Door cards are in VERY good shape with no pealing or bubbling.
Window regulators work great.
Sunroof works great

DASC
Stromung Exhaust
Koni Adjustable shocks/struts
E30 LSD
H&R Sport springs
Powerflex Poly Bushings
New LCA's within last year.
OE Water pump, hoses, thermostat, entire cooling system rebuilt in the last year.
Nissen radiator a few months old.
Beautiful redone headliner.

The bad
typical rust in rear wheel wells.
Rear suspension bushings, drop links etc...need replaced.
Clunking over bumps in rear end due to worn components.
Rear wiper not working. Wiring?
No stereo included in price
Brake pads need replaced soon
Glove box door tab broken.

Would make an easily perfected car, or a wealth of parts for your nicer example that needs a DASC and such.

Will include LOADS of extra parts.

Will add pictures, etc. later.

Selling for $3500 FIRM for a quick sale...the supercharger and a few bits on the car alone are worth that.

Here's the thread I bought the car from years ago...much has changed and been upgraded in the car since then. I've easily spent and additional $7k over the years making many things right...I'm just over it and need it gone. Different interests, and no space to keep it.

Hey ILurevBMW. How many miles are on the car?

328Wagon 12-08-2015 11:44 PM

Also, what interior is it? The previous sale post did not have much pictures.

I updated the add with mileage and a few extra notes.
212k miles, and starts up every time with no engine issues or CEL.

I'll update and straighten out the add this weekend, and add pictures, etc.

Thanks. Pictures would definitely be nice. 212K is quite up there. Is it all on the original engine? Has it been rebuilt (sorry if I'm asking a question that might have been answered in the other post)?

Is this car still for sale?

ILurveBMW 01-11-2016 05:06 PM

Bump with pics, update and a little more info.

Anyone who has any questions please reach me via PM and I'll text you pics, videos or whatever you need.

I've been dragging my feet, as I really like driving the car.

sgs54mc 01-11-2016 09:25 PM

Unfortunately, I still can't PM on this site (just the other one). It looks like the ABS and another warning lamp are illuminated while the car is running. Can you PM me about this?

Is there any other rust aside from the last picture? Thanks.

Deposit taken and sale pending.

Thank you.

Hey everyone. Just wondering who has my old car these days?

I saw this Jalopnik article and wondered if it was one and the same. Seats are different, among other things: https://jalopnik.com/for-6-499-could...and-1787874730

Hope all is well in the 318ti community these days!
