Hey all

Hey all, my wife and I recently purchased a 1995 318ti hatchback and just luv it. I do the washing and polishing, my wife gets to drive it. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee finally died and we had a choice of buying a 2001 Sunfire or a 1995 318ti. After second of thinking we went for the bimmer...tough choice, lol. While it has almost 400k on it and needs some body work, it was by far the better vehicle. It kinda reminds me of the Scorpio we had a few years ago.

I've already contacted a parts reseller in T.O. and we will be picking a fender for it next weekend.

My wish list for parts are...carpeted floor mats, a luggage cover, CD radio, extra keys.

Anyway, I look forward to this site, chatting and all the info I can gather

buy both, then switch them out for winter ;)

welcome, 400k km converts to 248k miles, which is nothing for these cars, unless the engine overheats it will far outlast the body

I was thinking 400k miles, lol ... wow, it has even more than mine (still)! I'm about to hit 239k miles. If properly cared for, they certainly last.

Good luck fixing her up (I have a good bit of that to do myself!).
