Tischer sells brand new OEM M Tech rear bumper kits for $350

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Guys, you could get the rear diffusor new for $149.66 at Tischer(getbmwparts.com) part# 51122269489 or you can get the whole rear bumper+diffusor+hardware new for $350 + $150 shipping http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

It doesn't come with the three moldings but you can use your old ones as they're the same for sport and non-sport models. If you do decide to order new moldings, don't use the part#'s listed on Tischer's website, those are for e36 coupes and sedans. Look the part#'s up on realoem.com. The corner moldings are 16 bucks each and the center strip is $21. Also, be sure to select 318ti from the drop down options menu, it knocks the price down to $350 for the kit:wink:

Thank You
Lovely Jess =)

No worries. Tischer has love for 318ti's. Their prices are usually a little better than pelicanparts and they're extremely professional and helpful over the phone. Service is top notch, I remember VROOMCP purchased a rear bumper from them as well as a bunch of other parts, not only did they give him a nice discount, they also packed everything into one big box and didn't charge extra for shipping!

Yeah I feel ya. Definitely not cheap, but $500 shipped for a brand new one with hardware and a diffusor is better than what some people are asking for these things used. Just thought I'd throw this out there so people would know that they're still available. It's not like it's a rare part or unavailable.

Remember to add the cost of painting. That will obviously vary depending on location and how well you know the folks at the body shop. :-)

thanks again for the phone call Jesse. This is the last piece of the pie I need to complete my M tech kit.

Surely a great deal! Tischer is awesome too. The shipping might sting a little bit though..ouch.

Great thread Jesse, I completely agree with you, the prices of used bumpers are getting ridiculous. Tischer is awesome.

I am a Painter by trade so if anybody is near me feel free to ask.
I can usually paint something like this for $100 + materials.
Don't hate me if the bumper looks better then the rest of the car tho!@
