'96 owners manual vs. '97 owners manual Is there a difference between a 1996 owners manual, and a 1997 owners manual? They have different part #, so I want to make sure I get the right one before I fork out the dough. These things are friggin expensive! 1997 owners manual Part #: 01 41 9 789 947 1996 owners manual Part #: 01 47 9 788 707 I won a '97 Active model, so i want to make sure all the feature are in the manual. Thanks! |
Have you checked eBay Motors for the one you want? Or perhaps someone parting their 3-series out on here or www.bimmerforums.com. You'd save quite a few chips in the process. |

I saw that the manuals are the same from 1997 to 1999. So this could be something for you: http://cgi.ebay.de/Betriebsanleitung...item2eb1011ff2 |

It is definitely only the owner's manual. |
Well, if just the owner's manual is $33, you'll be hard pressed to find the whole kit and kaboodle for less than what you've seen. Short of someone parting a wrecked one out. Good luck to you, I've done this hunt before with other E36s...not fun or cheap. |
