FS: OEM Roof Spoiler

Anyone looking for one? No affiliation with seller, just cruising CL and came across it. These are uber rare.

That's a BMW made roof spoiler? I've never heard of such a thing.

Looks large and a bit bulbous. I couldn't find any pics of it installed on google. I think I found a picture of one mocked up, but couldn't tell.

What in the heck does that look like on a car?

It looks slightly goofy but since bmw designed it I wonder if it really keeps the air flowing along the hatch.

Getbmwparts still has the retrofit kit for $241 so his price is a bit optimistic. Idk if they are NLA though.

They're nla

Zoner, thanks for the cartoon drawing.
Earl, thanks for the pictures.

I have to quote Sir-Mix-A-Lot on this one,

"I mean, her wing, is just so big,
I can't believe it's just so round, it's like out there....."

Actually, the more I look at it the more I'm starting to dig the thing. Probably just jealous it's out of my price range.

I have a NOS AC Schnitzer upper hatch spoiler that is quite a lot better fitting of our body lines

Agreed, but the AC Schnitzer is probably even harder to find than an OEM example!

I'd be really interested if it actually kept the air attached to the car and reduced drag. If someone had one and did coast down testing or taped tufts to the rear window it would be pretty cool to see.

I have one, haven't installed yet though.
