Looking for a Auto 318ti in New Jersey

Hi
So I'm looking for a 318ti, I live in North Jersey, and I'm a big fan of BMWs, i have owned a 325i, e36, but crashed it last December. Now i own a Geo tracker, which I've grown to like but i really miss my BMW, and the way BMWs drive.
I want to buy it by the middle of August, but I am in no hurry, I start college in Sept, so I really wanna have it by then, but I'd rather take my time looking for THE 318ti than just getting one that will end up costing me tons to fix.
If you know of any, let me know.

Oh, also I want one with a sunroof and trip computer, and automatic.
Good luck for me

Hmm are you the one who put an ad on Craigslist for our area? If not, you should check there first. What are you looking to spend? I look around on ebay and craigslist all the time so if I see something, I'll let you know.

haha
yeah i check ebay and craigslist like 24/7
there is one that looks really clean
at a dealer in newark
i was gonna check it today but i didnt
its a 1997, auto, green, looks really clean, say is has tilt steering wheel? dont know
but yeha maybe ill check it tomorrow
im not a big fan of dealers though

I am not a fan of dealers either. Every time I saw a car I liked on CL, it turned out to be a POS in person. I would just be cautious when looking at dealer cars, but you never know, it might turn out to be a great car for a great price.

I'm sure you could take him down quite a bit, it's a clean car but realistically, it's just a base model with cloth seats, steel rims and the advertisement has quite a bit of false information

tan leather sunroof alloys cruise and much more.
it's got tan cloth, steel rims, no cruise control

if you go to see that car bring a printed copy of the advertisement

the white one looks very clean, like brand new interior, but it has no trip computer=\ and the price needs to be adjusted :P

but the performanceisland's 318ti looks absolutely gorgeous.
i want it

amancuso 07-28-2009 06:38 PM

trip computer is over rated. My 318ti and my Z3 both do not have the trip computer.

Don't want to steal anyone's thunder about the corners, but my friend had them on a 325 he bought, they were the crappiest corners we've ever seen, and they also let moisture in, so they were fogged about 50% of the time.

got them on ebay, i want to say depo, and mine do not let water in and they dont get foggy, if they are made good they stay good. search e36 corner lights on ebay and youll find them, they are real cheap too.
