lol, I think I'm gonna buy 6 of these kits. One for each cylinder and run them at 35 psi each for a total of 210 psi and about 2100 hp!

with no tune either, mind you.

Dude, wait for the twin turbo to come out. I'm sure you'll get atleast 3000hp+. Then do a wet nitrous set up. Do that, and you'll be around 4700hp. I don't know about you guys, but I would use every single horsepower backing out of my drive way. You'll never know when that might come in handy.

it's still a good way to blow your engine if you have stock internals, I think the MM engine should be able to take the boost just fine

No engine likes pressure spikes, metal shavings, bearings or fan blades going through it. And all of those pretty chrome flimsy hose clamps are a disaster waiting to happen. You want to use Adel(sp?) clamps with flanged plumbing or Wiggins fittings(sp?) and o-rings.

Guys I'm just kidding. I didn't buy a kit from EBay. The turbo I have is from Ebay but I tore it apart and inspected every part. The rest of the parts are good quality. The turbo will be replaced with a Garrett when I find the right A/R trims. I thought I would stir up some trouble.

That kit is a disaster waiting to happen. RRFP good for 10-15 HP:eek:. 35psi on a 10:1 motor (boom). very cheep piping and clamps. Whoever buys that and shaps it on a stock motor is in for a big disappointment followig by a large window in the side of their block:eek:

Do not buy this kit. There are many issues that will leave you with an incomplete kit and this kit will blow a stock motor. The fuel and timing requirements are not even close with this kit. Parts are cheeply made and you can do much better for just a little more money. Please PM me if you want the skinny:biggrin:

Wow way for all you guys to shoot down dreams for a turbo kit on an m44! This kit really isn't crap as long as you properly tune the car, the FMIC is actually the same as any high priced FMIC all the piping has a rolled lip to it which is very good! I personally have used ebay FMIC on my 06 sti which puts down over 400awhp. As for you xxxJohnBoyxxx the manifold in that kit is the exact same manifold as you got for your turbo build, its the OBX turbo manifold. As for this kit blowing your engine, it is possible but its possible when you add boost to any engine i dont care what the kit is, they all blow your engine! I hope you all can be a little bit more open minded to turbo kits for are m44, and i will be proving all of you that this kit isn't crap, cause i am currently setting up for my m44 turbo build which i have plan to put down at least 450rwhp.

Well crap... I bought this kit, installed it yesterday evening, had it dyno'ed at 450whp... So as a suprise, I did a full DIY write-up, took pics and everything... But the site crash and rollback deleted all my posts... Sorry, I am going to be too busy for the next 4 to 5 years to re-post this stuff...
