throttle cable ?? on s50 swap????
 
hey guys question...
im doing a swap right now but i was told i need a 6 cylinder throttle cable?
is this tru or can i use the original cable from the m44?
if i can how this seems to be my only dilemma. please help need to get my car on the road already......

You need a throttle cable from an M50 or S50 e36.

Both cAn be used.. I've had my swap for over a year and still using m44 throttle cable

It should connect the same way on the s50 throttle body the same way it does on the m44.. I really didn't do anything else other than that.. The cable is a lil too long but it loops around and it works fine

PN 35411163228 only cost $26.30 @ getbmwparts.com. Such an important part, I'd replace it with the correct one.

Besides, the cable is plenty old already and could use replacing anyway.
