Troubleshooting an electrical short

Anyone know of a good guide for troubleshooting an electrical short? I have a fuse blowing when I turn on my parking lights that only takes out my passenger side parking lights on my 325i Sedan. I have a Bentley manual and identified the electrical diagrams.

I'm looking on other forums as well, but maybe someone here knows of a good process and method for troubleshooting.

Thanks!

Try pulling the tail light holder on that side and replace the fuse. If the tail light comes a little loose the circuit board can short to the body.

Ah thanks! I should mention, the short occurs with the OEM Sedan taillights or the new replacement LED Taillight assembly. I'll disconnect them totally at the assembly plug and see if the fuse blows.
