Leatherz Mark2+ Armrest Group Buy? Putting a feeler out there if anyone may be interested in trying to get a group buy going on the Mark2+ Armrest at Leatherz.com. List is $130. It's a simple bracket set up to our existing center console. Out of curiosity, I emailed Andy @ leatherz.com yesterday and he said he'd look into it. Regardless of what Andy is able to offer, if you haven't looked at their products you should check them out since some of our interior parts are interchangeable with the Z3. http://www.leatherz.com |
I already have one in my car. I've had it for 2 yrs now and it's a great armrest. |
dude that site is awesome..that yellow leather package shown...nice!!..am def gonna have to get those steering wheel inserts!!...As for the armrest imo not nice go original ti..that one appears to be really short an chunky..i couldnt be without my arm rest i love it...just never saw the point of having cup holders in a car..the way i drive the cup would be emptied over my lap anyway!! like i said imo only!! ;) |
I'm extremely tempted, also looking at their boot bundle... |
I'm interested as well. Looked into it initially when I got my car. Called and spoke with someone @ LeatherZ back then. My recollection is poor. However, I think I remember them saying that there are no refunds if you are not happy with it. |
if you're looking for a cheap boot bundle, check out redlinegoods.com! $60 for a combo, and they have a wide variety of options. |
Here is mine in the ti,it is not chunky at all. http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...500&ppuser=912 http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...500&ppuser=912 |

That is a great site and I need to check with my mate but if she wants it I am in. |
That's sort of what I thought as well. I figured it would be about 50/50 on those who'd rather go w/OEM versus the bolt on. I haven't heard back from Andy at Leatherz, so I'll close out the idea of a potential group buy for the time being. Not to leave you hanging, I've done some checking and dependent on the dismantler, it can actually be cheaper (depending on the condition) to buy a used OEM and use a leather restoration kit if the armrest is showing some wear. There's supposedly a very good leather restoration kit made by Leatherique that I've been hankering to test out, so this may be a good project for it (since I won't have to be stuck with it in the car if the results aren't impressive). |
